It was a great system, and still is, but brushless motor technologies rule nowadays. We will continue to support our Sparrow customers with parts and service well into the foreseeable future.
	Phoenix II (Cruiser, Brute) Starting at $829	RoadRunner motors are no longer being manufactured, which is only an issue for those who need a 16" rim. We are currently searching for a good 16" rim motor option, feel free to call or email for an update. We have plenty of RoadRunner controllers and other parts to continue support for RoadRunner systems.
	Available in front and rear motors on 20", 24", 26", 29er and 700c double wall rims. Phoenix handles the big 29er and 700c rims with ease. Brushless, sensorless, and about 1/2 the weight of Phoenix I. Very cool.

Phoenix is the most powerful electric bike kit available for a bicycle. No maintenance is required on any of our hub motor systems. There are no belts, chains, sprockets, gears, or pulleys. The wheel is directly connected to the electric motor. While a conventional motor is mounted by its case allowing the axle to spin, our hub motors are mounted by their axle, allowing the case to spin. Directly coupling the motor to the wheel means there are no losses in the transmission of power to the wheel. It is direct drive, as quiet and efficient as it gets.
ElectricRider makes its own electric bike kits. Our kits are not pre-packaged from a manufacturer. We purchase components from several manufacturers, each with its core competencies in the components we buy from them. Our goal of zero defects requires that our own technicians lace and true the wheels, solder the connectors, and test each system before it is packaged and shipped.
ElectricRider services what it sells. Our service center still exists, but our systems have become so reliable, we spend very little time there. We are more likely to be working on custom cables or testing than repairs.
