What is included?
Systems from ElectricRider include everything you need to convert your pedal
bike at home or at a bike shop, and we do a lot of the work for you. The wheel
is laced to the motor and the batteries are wired. Every component we ship is
bench tested just prior to shipment. Our goal is zero defects in our customers'
hands.
Here are pictures of individual PARTS

| Motor | We offer five motors: Phoenix Racer, Phoenix Cruiser, Phoenix Brute, RoadRunner, and Sparrow. Each has a 36V and a 48V option. If you order a front wheel motor, a torque arm is included. If you order a rear wheel motor, a 7-speed freewheel is included. |
| Spokes | We use 12 gauge spokes. Normal bike spokes are 14 gauge. That means less spoke maintenance and a much stronger wheel. |
| Rim | 20", 24", 26" and 700c rims are double-walled. The 16" is not available in double, so it is single-walled. |
| Lacing | We lace the motor to the rim on our bench. We can lace Phoenix motors to 20", 24", 26", and 700c rims. We can lace RoadRunner and Sparrow motors to 16", 20", 24", and 26" rims. |
| Controller | We offer six controllers: 3640 and 4840 for Phoenix, 3620 and 4820 for RoadRunner, 3625 and 4825 for Sparrow. To calculate the wattage, multiply the voltage (first two digits of the model) by the amperage (second two digits of the model). A 4840 would be 48 volts X 40 amps = 1920 Watts. |
| Throttle | We offer several throttles. See pictures on our parts page. Your choice of throttle with any system. If you have twist shifters, choose a thumb throttle. |
| Rack and/or basket | We ship a rack with all systems except the Phoenix 4840. The batteries go in the top part of the bag, and the panniers are folded up into zipper pouches, available for your use. The Phoenix 4840 gets a basket instead of a rack due to the size and weight of its batteries. If you upgrade a RoadRunner or Sparrow to 12AH batteries, it gets a basket instead of a rack. |
| Pannier bag | The bag is used to hold the batteries and the controller. There is free space in the bag for your own use. |
| Batteries | Phoenix kits come with 12V 12AH batteries. RoadRunner and Sparrow kits come with 12V 10AH batteries, but you may upgrade. Both battery sizes are very common and can be obtained from ElectricRider or hundreds of other stores. Battery packs are prewired, so all you need do is plug in the connector to the controller. |

We do the wiring of systems purchased from ElectricRider. The wire set includes a 50A fuse for Phoenix, a 40A fuse for RoadRunner and Sparrow. Key switch and Charger port are included. The connector to the controller is a 50A Anderson. |
| Charger | Standard charger is a Crystalyte (30 day warranty). Upgrade to Soneil brand (1 year warranty) is available for all models. |
| Cruise Control | Cruise control and brake inhibits are included with Phoenix systems. They can be added to Sparrow and RoadRunner. The cruise includes brake levers that have switches in them. When pulled, the brake lever's switch will shut off the cruise control and make the throttle inoperative. |
| Slime Tube (most sizes) | We include a slime tube with Phoenix systems exc. 700c rim. |
| Spoke Wrench | We include a spoke wrench. |
Things you may want to add:
Lights, speedometer, mirrors Lights and mirrors improve the safety of your
ride. A speedometer may turn out to be your best gauge of battery life,
particularly if you take the same route frequently. Please browse the selection

page.
Since we assemble and package kits at our shop, we can make any substitution you desire. For instance, if you want 12AH batteries with a RoadRunner, we charge only the difference between the 10AH standard and the 12AH you want.
