Positions at ElectricRider
To apply for a position at ElectricRider: Apply in person between 9 AM and 5 PM Monday thru Friday. We are a relaxed, casual shop, so don't bother to dress up for the interview. Most of our employees wear shorts or jeans. Don't misunderstand.. we are serious about our work, and people who don't make the grade don't get to stay, but we don't care what you wear or if you have pink hair or a full body tattoo.
Most positions start at $7 per hour, increasing to $8 in one month, and further increasing as you demonstrate competence in the performance of the job. We offer group health and dental insurance for employees who work 29 hours per week or more. We train for all our positions because we have proven processes that work, and we want it done our way until we find a better way.

Attendant
These positions answer the many phone calls ElectricRider receives every day, mostly from prospective customers. This position enters orders and answers customer questions that are already answered on the website. Hours: Part time or Full Time. Weekdays only. |
| Wheel Assembly Technician
ElectricRider sells electric hub power systems for bicycles and other vehicles. These positions lace motors to bicycle rims. No experience required. We train. Our quality control process assures each wheel is built correctly and tested before it is shipped. Hours: Part time or Full Time. Weekdays only. |
| Electronics Technician
ElectricRider sells large format Lithium batteries. This position installs cells and electronics in cases. It involves use of screwdrivers and soldering equipment. We will train. Hours: Part time or Full Time. Weekdays only. |
| Soldering Technician
ElectricRider sells electric hub power systems for bicycles and other vehicles. Most of these systems require batteries and other electrical connections. This position solders connections to batteries, switches and connectors. We will train. Hours: Part time or Full Time. Weekdays only. |
| Shipping Technician These positions receive orders fill them from stock in the warehouse. It involves picking the correct barcoded products, packaging them with bubble, peanuts or foam, and making shipping labels. Most interaction with the computer is by barcode. Position restocks shelves from incoming shipments checked in by the receiving department. We will train. Hours: Part time or Full Time. Weekdays only. |
| Contract Position Available / Developer
Objective: Jump-start implementation of OS Commerce shopping cart on Linux server. Define file format(s) and transport for data interchange with in-house fulfillment system written in VB. ElectricRider requires functionality and flexibility provided by dynamically generated web pages. The person in this position will help in-house developer migrate from static HTML-based shopping cart to OS Commerce. Position requires expertise in OS Commerce, SSL certificates (obtaining, configuring), https, XML, asp, MySQL. Contact dave@electricrider.com |
